The 30th Population Census Conference
2 December – 4 December 2020
Organized by the Association of National Censuses and Statistics Directors of Americas, Asia and the Pacific (ANCSDAAP),
National Statistics Office of Mongolia and Statistics Korea
The Population Census Conference started as early as 1971 at the East-West Center. Afterwards, the ANCSDAAP was established and incorporated in 1991.
In 2013, Statistics Korea (KOSTAT) has taken over the role of Secretariat in accordance with the decision of the 13th ANCSDAAP Board of Directors Meeting that was held in Mongolia, and is in charge of managing the association’s overall activities, including conducting series of conferences.
This year, we mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of ANCSDAAP, and the semi-centennial year ever since the first Population Census Conference was held in 1971 in Honolulu.
